About NetskorBot
NetskorBot is the scanner behind Netskor. It looks at a domain the way any visitor or mail server would.
What it requests
- DNS records through public DNS-over-HTTPS resolvers (Cloudflare and Google).
- Your homepage over HTTP and HTTPS, following at most 5 redirects.
- Two public files: /.well-known/security.txt and the MTA-STS policy at mta-sts.<domain>.
- Public registry data (RDAP or WHOIS) and certificate transparency logs.
It never logs in, guesses addresses, scans ports or sends attack traffic. A scan makes a handful of requests to your servers.
It identifies itself as NetskorBot/0.2.0 (+https://netskor.vardis.is/about-bot).
Stop scans of your domain
Email netskor@vardis.is from an address at the domain, and we will block it from future scans.
